  4. Google will redirect you to Google mail password reset page and will confirm to send the verification code to a linked mobile number. 
  5. Click on “Send code” and wait for the code to receive you in form of SMS. 
  6. Check the code in your phone and enter the same in the space provided on the recovery page. 
  7. Once you can enter the correct verification code, Google will now ask to enter a new password. 
  8. Create a password that is strong enough and easy for you to remember. 
  9. Reconfirm the password by entering it again. 
  10. Your password will be changed and you can check it by logging into the account. 
In case you do not have any recovery phone number linked to the account then also you can reset your Google mail password. This can be done either by recovery email or by answering the security question.
